ISLAMABAD: The capital police have arrested two thieves and recovered valuables from them, police said on Tuesday.

The police while investigating theft cases identified two persons involved in theft and traced their whereabouts which led to in their arrests, they added.

During interrogation the police also succeeded in recovering six mobile phones and three lap tops from their possession, they said.

Meanwhile, the capital police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operationin different areas of Tarnol and Secretariat police stations and arrested 11 suspects.

They conducted search operation in sector D-17, Kamalpur and their adjacent areas, they said, adding that during the search more than 100 houses were combed.

Police also recovered a 30-bore pistol from a suspect they were shifted to police stations for further investigation.
