2015-04-17
LAKKI MARWAT: The All Subject Specialists Association has demanded of the government to promote principals and senior subject specialists of higher secondary schools as per the recommendations of the provincial selection board.

The demand was made at a meeting held in Tajazal here on Thursday.

`The provincial selection board in its meeting on Oct 22 last year had recommended 567 principals and senior subject specialists for promotion, said Naeem Khan, the provincial general secretary of the association. He said that provincial government had not issued notification of promotions of the teachers.

`Due to delay in issuing notification, several principal and senior subject specialists retired from service without getting promotion while many others are near to reachthe age of superannuation,` he added.
