SWABI: Bodies of three unidentified persons were recovered from a deserted place in the jurisdiction of Chota Lahor police station here on Tuesday.
The bodies were recovered from the Gaju Khan desert.
Police officials told Dawn the incident occurred a day after the killing of two SHOs in two militant attacks on Monday. Two policemen were also injured when militants attacked Zaida police station on Monday night.
Soon after the attack police started a search operation and tightened security at all entry and exit points.
Police officials said it seemed that all three men were killed somewhere else and their bodies were thrown in the deserted place.

As soon as the police came to know about the presence of bodies they immediately reached the barren land and recovered the bodies.
The deceased persons were brought to rural health centre in Khunda where their postmortem was conducted by doctors.
The police said identity of the deceased persons was not yet confirmed.
