LAHORE: Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari, younger sister of PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, hurt herself when she slipped during a walk at Bilawal House, Bahria Town, on Wednesday.

She was taken to a private hospital, where doctors took her X-rays and plastered her one foot that got twisted and sent her home. She had arrived in Lahore on Tuesday to condole the late PPP leader Jahangir Badar’s death with his family.

Bilawal is also expected to visit Badar’s family on Thursday to offer condolence, a party official said.

Also, Jamaat-i-Islami naib emir Hafiz Idrees, who had contested in the Punjab University student union elections against Jahangir Badar, Anti-Corruption Establishment Director General Muzaffar Iqbal and former MNA Kashmala Tariq visited the bereaved family and expressed their sorrow.
