LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has submitted a call attention notice to the Punjab Assembly claiming that 261 youths belonging to various banned organisations have been identified in 13 educational institutions in Punjab.
In her notice, PTl MPA Saadia Suhail Rana asked whether the youths were brainwashing other students on social media. She claimed that such organisations were also financially assisting some students. The banned organisations, she alleged, were also instigating students to initiate clashes among student groups in various institutions.
The PTl MPA claimed that some foreign `secret service organisations` were funding such students and offering them laptops, mobile phones and other devices. She asked the Punjab Assembly what the provincial government had done so far to check such activities.
HEROIN: PTl MPA Murad Rass submitted a resolution in the assembly demanding the federal government conduct inquiry into the incident of recovery of heroin from a PIA flight at London`s Heathrow airport and punish the culprits.
