LAHORE: The funeral prayers for six Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists including two women who died during police action were offered on the premises of Minhajul Quran secretariat here on Tuesday.

A good number of activists and leaders of PAT, PML-Q and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf also attended the funeral prayers.

PAT chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri addressed the participants of funeral prayers telephonically.

Earlier, police handed over the bodies of seven victims to their families after their post-mortem examination.

Initial medical report suggested all victims received multiple gunshot wounds.
