Canadian visa

2016-07-18
I AM over 63 years old and have the privilege of travelling more than half the globe. I am a pilot in a private airline in Pakistan. My niece of Canadian citizenship is getting married in mid-July.

I, along with my wife, submitted our visa applications online on April 2 and had our finger prints sent on April 7. When we submitted our applications the processing time mentioned was 30 days.

I received intimation for my wife`s passport submission and she received her passport back affixed with visa on May 31. I am still awaiting intimation from the Canadian high commission.

My two inquiries on the given website received stereotype reply which said: `Under processing.` I had to cancel our confirmed airline tickets owing to the extraordinary efhciency ofthe Canadian high commission and endure cancellation charges. Our US visa processing took less than 10 days. It is to discourage senior citizens or to deter visa-seekers.
