PML-N, PTI govts flayed for failing to serve people

PESHAWAR: Pakistan People`s Party provincial president Engr Mohammad Humayun Khan has accused the Pakistan Muslim League-N and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf of failure to focus on solution to the problems of poor people during the past four years.

Speaking at a meeting at his residence here on Saturday, he urged the newly-nominated party office-bearers to do justice with their new assignments and play effective role for strengthening the party at grassroots level in KP in order to get rid of the incapable ministers of rival parties.

Hymayun Khan elaborated that ministers of both the federal and provincial governments were facing allegations of corruption and they had no right to remain in power any longer.

The PPP leader said that the party`s top leadership had devised an effective plan to focus on solution to the problems being faced by the poor.

He said the new of fice-bearers had been named in consultation with workers of relevant areas and now it was their duty to remove differences and ensure success of PPP candidates in the next general elections.

Mr Khan said the PPP had offered matchless sacrifices for wellbeing of poor masses and strengthening democracy in the country. He claimed that PPP was still the largest party in the country and it would regain its glory soon. `We are fully determined to contact every group and individual of the party in different areas to activate them in order to ensure reorganisation at all levels,` he said and asked the party people to contact provincial level office-bearers in case of any complaint.

The masses, he claimed had attached many expectations to the PPP and it would take all possible steps to resolve their problems.
