RAWALPINDI: A union council vice-chairman on Wednesday reported to the police that he had received threatening phone call from the Taliban who demanded Rs5 million from him, police said. The vice chairman, who happens to be a trader, also got an FIR registered.

In his complaint to the police, he said he received similar threats during LG elections, but he ignored them that time. Staff Reporter
