ISLAMABAD: Eight people were arrested in the city and police recovered valuables and contraband from them, police said on Tuesday.

Shams Colony police arrested a thief and recovered a vehicle from his possession while investigating a theft. Shahzad Town police arrested a man after recovering a 30-bore pistol from him.

The police arrested two people for their alleged involvement in theft and recovered valuables worth thousands of rupees from them, they added.

Khanna police arrested three people for their allege d involvement in theft, and recovered valuables worth thousands of rupees.
