TOBA TEK SINGH: The Government Women Degree College vice principal was looted by dacoits here on Monday.

Musarrat Muhammad informed the city police that she was on her way home from the college when two armed men deprived her of cash, gold ornaments and other valuables worth Rs150,000.

Muhammad Sultan, a brick kiln owner, was deprived of Rs 100,000 by two dacoits on Monday.

BREACH: Crops on hundreds of acres of farmland were inundated on Monday as a result of a breach in Gogera branch canal`s Kartooti distributary near village 244-GB in Gojra tehsil.

Farmers with the help of irrigation staff later plugged the breach.
