Jamrud blast victims` relatives given jobs

LANDI KOTAL: The Khyber Agency political administration on Wednesday notified appointment of relatives of the victims of twin blasts in Jamrud. Twelve Levies personnel were killed in the incident on March 1.
According to a notification issued from Khyber House in Peshawar, Amir Imran, Ali Yar, Ikramullah, Zeeshan and Zahir Ahmad were recruited in Jamrud Levies force to compensate for the sacrifices of assistant line officer Akhtar Munir, lance naik Qadeer Khan, sepoy Farhad Afridi, Amjad Ali and lance naik Taufeeg Khan, respectively, who had lost their lives in Lashora area of Jamrud on March 1 These officials were escorting polio teams when their vehicles were targeted with roadside bombs.
The notification further said that son of Bara line officer, Said Karim, was recruited as a classIV employee. Family members of four other Levies personnel from Bara would also be accommodated in the Levies force or some government department, according to the statement issued by the political agent. The administration also distributed food packages among the family members of the victims of Lashora blast.
