LAHORE: The cyber crime circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday claimed to have arrested a Nigerian for committing online fraud, impersonating a US consulate official.
The arrest came when the FIA team raided a building in F-10 Markaz in Islamabad on the complaint of a Lahore resident.
An official said the FIA had received a complaint that Chibuki Affa had deprived a citizen of US $45,000.
It was further told to the FIA that Affa had deprived many other people of their money by contacting them through the social media.
He used to introduce himself as an official of the US consulate, the FIA official added.
