Girls bag top positions in BA/BSc exams

ISLAMABAD: All top positions were clinched by girls` students of Islamabad model colleges in annual examinations of BA/BSc conducted by the Quaid-iAzam University (QAU).

TheQAUVice-Chancellor Dr. Javed Ashraf announced BA/BSc Part I and Par tII results on Wednesday. The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education chairman, Ikram A. Malik and QAU Controller Examinations, Srdar Baber and principals of model colleges were also present on the occasion.

According to the controller examination of QAU, a total of 3,020 studentsappeared in Part-I examination of them 1,392 (46.09pc) passed the examination.

In BA/BSC Part-II examination, 1,390 out of 3,412 students (40.74pc) were declared successful.

Sana Mushtaq of Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) F-6/2 secured the top position with 592 marks out of 800, while Sana Ramzan of IMCG F-7/4 and Shabana of IMCG F-7/2 secured the second and third positions by getting 584 and 578 marks respectively in BA Part-IL In BSc Part II, Sumbul Saeed of ICG F-6/2 bagged the first position with 668 marks, followed by Shamsa Jabeen of IMCG F-6/2 (646 marks) and Hafsa Abid (639 marks).
