TOBA TEK SINGH: Two minor sisters were severely bitten by their petdoghereonWednesday evening at Chak 404-JB.

Rescue 1122 said the personnel had shifted eight-year-old Rimsha and six-year-old Shumalla to Toba DHQ hospital where doctors administered them anti-rabies injections. Later, the girls were referred to Faisalabad`s Allied hospital. Doctors said some plastic surgeon would provide them with adequate treatment.

Girls` father Muhammad Iqbal said he along with his wife had gone to Nadra office to apply for CNICs and their daughters were at home when the incident took place.

GIRL KIDNAPPED: Ten people, including two women, allegedly kid-napped a girl over a marriage dispute here on Wednesday in Gojra.

According to complainant Shahzad Anjum, his wife and two daughters were present at home in Oddan Wali locality when Ismail, Nazir, Bebo Bibi of Jhang, Parveen Bibi of Shorkot and their six unidentified accomplices came there by two cars and motorcycles.

He said the suspects bundled his daughter into a car at gunpoint and fled.

He said he had turned down a marriage proposal.

Police were conducting raids to recover the girl and arrest the suspects.

ACCIDENT: A cyclist was killed in a road accident here on Wednesday at Pirmahal.

Police said Muhammad Husain of Arrouti was on his way on FaisalabadMultan Road when a tractor-trolley hit him, killing him on the spot.
