IT was wonderful to read Jawed Nagvi`s article on Kollam temple disaster (April 12).
His analysis rightly exposes the extremist Hindutva agenda of inducting an aggressive element in an otherwise peaceful tradition of rhythmical annual temple celebrations that have been promoting not only various artistic forms in India but expanding into a tolerant and inclusive religio-social system.
Mr Naqvi deserves congratulations for his excellent insightful article.
