TAXILA: Two persons were killed in separate incidents in Taxila police area on Friday.

A man identified as Waseem Akhter was abducted from Parri Mohallah by three persons who after subjecting him to serve torture killed him.

According to the deceased wife, the accused killed her husband over marriage dispute.

In another incident, a speeding dumper killed a motorcyclist on Hattar Road near Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC).

Police have registered two separate cases and started furtherinvestigation.

Meanwhile, a man who received burn injuries due to cylinder blast in a welding shop on Wednesday died of injuries at burn unit of POF hospital Wah Cantt.

Mehboob Ellahi, 55, was standing by the shop when the incident took place, and was among three persons who received burn injuries.

According to hospital sources, two other injured, Mukhtar Ahmed and his son Nadeem Mukhtar, were stated tobe outofdanger.
