A guest at the event, Nabeela Ahmad, said Ket had cast a spell on the audience. `Luc Ket is an artist whose voice has all the elements of a successful soprano. Her voice is so pure that we did not need to know the meanings of the words to know how she felt when she was singing.

She sang songs composed by some of the greatest classical 19th century Western composers like Mozart, Franz Schubert, Richard Strauss and Gabriel Faure.

Singing in German, French, English and Norwegian, Luc Ket sang the tale of how a flower wished it was pretty so a beautiful shepherd girl would spot and pluck it. She also sang the tales of different Spanish characters and then about a Veilchen flower that symbolises humbleness.

The artist left the audience spellbound when she sang `Apres un reve` by Gabriel Faure and `Morgen` by Richard Strauss, describ-ing how the sun will shine again on two lovers.
