ISLAMABAD: NAB director general Rawalpindi has clarified a news report headlined `Stay orders prevent NAB from acting against Sharifs` and said the issue was not discussed in a meeting held during NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry`s visit to the bureau`s Rawalpindi headquarters. The report was published in Dawn on Thursday.

The DG asserted that no such briefing about ongoing cases was given to the chairman during the course of his annual inspection visit.

He claimed that no case relating to the Sharif brothers existed in NAB R awalpindi region.
