LAHORE: A conference of the Pakistan Rangers was held at its Punjab headquartershere on Thursday.

According to a press release, Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) Director General Maj Gen Umar Farooq Burki presided over the conference in which Indo-Pak border and the working boundary situation was discussed.

Speaking on the occasion, Maj Gen Burki briefed the participants on professional sl(ills of the Rangers and internal security situation.

He also appreciated their sl(ill and dedication, saying the force was ready to render every sacriñce to fulñll its duty and commitment.

The DG also rewarded the ranger officials for their role in prevention of smuggling, illegal hunting and cutting of tree around their check posts. Reporter
