KARACHI: Three bullet-riddled bodies were found in a deserted area in the Manghopir police limits on Sunday, police said.
The bodies were discovered in a ‘jungle area’ off the Northern Bypass near Mohammad Khan Colony, when a woodcutter smelled a stench, said investigation SSP (west zone) Akhtar Farooq.
A Manghopir police party rushed to the spot after being informed of it and shifted the bodies to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of the deaths.
Quoting doctors at the hospital, the SSP said that the victims sustained multiple bullet wounds on their heads and chests. The bodies were decomposed beyond recognition.
