LARKANA: A man allegedly shot dead his 20-year-old wife in the village of Sachi Bakhsh Jagirani on the outskirts of the city within the remit of the Kanga police station on Tuesday.

Amanullah Jagirani killed his wife Rabia over a petty issue. The SHO concerned said the accused fired at her in a fit of anger when she refused to return home with him from her parents` house.

The accused was later arrested with the pistol he used to commit the crime and a case on the complaint of Roshan Jagirani, father of Rabia, was registered against Amanullah.
