`Schools infrastructure being improved`

KHAIRPUR: PPP member of the National Assembly Nafisa Shah has said that the Sindh government is taking all necessary steps to improve enrolment of children in schools so that no child remained deprived of education. She said it was also ensuring quality education and essential facilities at all educa-tional institutions in the province.

`Sindh`s prosperity is linked with the education being imparted to children and the bright future being ensured for them,` she said while addressing a ceremony held here late on Monday evening for upgrading the Shaheed Benazir BhuttoMiddleSchoolin JillaniMohalla to a high school. She announced Rs15.5 million for the school.

MNA Shah said that the provincialgovernment was chall(ing out a `school development programme` to improve the infrastructure of schools across the province. She said teachers would be given training and `school management committees` would be formed for the purpose.

She told the education officials attending the ceremony to arrange for modern facilities for students at the upgraded school.
