Teachers seek payment of dues for exams duty

By Our Correspondent 2014-07-24
KARAK: Teachers of government schools here have expressed concern over delay in release of their dues for performing duty a few months ago in Secondary School Certificate examinations held by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Kohat.

They demanded of the board to clear their bills before Eidul Fitr.

The demand was made by leader of Tanzeem-i-Asatza, Khairullah Hawari, in a press release issued here.

He said that they had also held meetings with the high-ups of the BISE, Kohat, for clearance of the pending bills of teachers, but the officials did not show interest in resolving the matter.

Mr Hawari also demanded that all education boards should be converted into NTS centres so that confidence of the parents and students could be restored in the examinations system.
