MANSEHRA: A peace activist, who has started a countrywide peace mission on his motorcycle, reached here on Sunday.

Shahid Jamil Rana, who started his `Ride for Peace` mission from Lahore on July 13, later left for Balakot. Then, he would proceed to China border using Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad road.

`I am alone in this noble mission but sentiments for peace of entire nation are with me and wherever I go people extend me a warm welcome,` said Mr Rana. He said that after visiting Gilgit-Baltistan he would travel to Karachi.

Mr Rana said that his was a mission to present the soft image of country abroad, which he said, was shattered by the scourge of terrorism. `People of Pakistan are hospitable and accommodative for everyone irrespective of cast and creed,` he said.-Correspondent
