AS someone who loves reading, I find it surprisingly hard to put my interest in my Intermediate English textbooks.
I use to look forward to my English class to get a little break from the science subjects but I was disappointed to find that my English book consisted of nothing but science; if not science then history. A mere fraction of the book consisted of intriguing stories. Chapters like science and scientists, science and society, Pakistan and the modern world, etc., put me in the driest mood.
I believe it is important to change the outdated course and update the Sindh Textbook Board course with chapters that will keep the students hool(ed and wanting to come back for more rather than getting bored every time they open their books.
