Rs60m fraud Two employees of travel agency held

GUJRANWA LA/SIA LKOT: The FIA claimed on Thursday to have arrested two employees of a travel agency and seized over 4,000 passports and other documents from their possession.

FIA Deputy Director Sikander Hayat Malik said the agency got information that some employees of main accused Akram Mughal, the owner of Nimra Travel Agency, Daska, were working in Sialkot.

He said a team led by SHO Shahid Pervaiz and Inspector Waqar Awan raided there and arrested two accused Tariq and Akber and seized around 4,000 passports and other documents from them.

He said that main accused Akram Mughal had fled Dubai after collecting Rs60 million from 2,000 people by offering them lucrative packages for Haj and Umrah.

Mr Malik said the accused would soon be got arrested with the help of Interpol. The FIA team also sealed the Nimra Travels Agency in Daska. SHO Shahid Pervalz said a case had been registered against the accused.
