* In 2010, the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital recorded over 9,000 new patient registrations and more than 130,000 outpatient visits -almost three times that of 2000 * In the last 10 years, chemotherapy sessions and radiation treatments registered a three-fold increase to 27,588 and 42,888 respectively. Surgical procedures increased to 6,109 from 1,531 in the same period of time * From 2000 the number of patients coming to the OPD have steadily increased from 40,000 to 130,000 in 2010.
