* In 2010, the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital recorded over 9,000 new patient registrations and more than 130,000 outpatient visits -almost three times that of 2000 * In the last 10 years, chemotherapy sessions and radiation treatments registered a three-fold increase to 27,588 and 42,888 respectively. Surgical procedures increased to 6,109 from 1,531 in the same period of time * From 2000 the number of patients coming to the OPD have steadily increased from 40,000 to 130,000 in 2010. The number of newly registered patients have also increased from 3,000 in 2000 to an abrupt 8,000 in 2006 and finally 9,000 in 2010. E -Xari Jalil
