EDUCATION plays a vital role in the progress of a nation. Its negligence results in annihilation of the whole nation. Our education system, unlike other developing countries, is very deplorable.
The unskilled and less qualified teachers, besides the corrupt administration, are already ruining the future of our generations . Ghost teachers have further complicated the problem. They are working in the media, in NGOs or doing their own business without any fear of trial. It is an irony that the authoritiesconcerned are unwilling to curb this menace.
However, the recent campaign on thesocial media against absentee teachers is a good sign. It shows the nation is waking up to the situation. Now it is for the authorities to take action to ensure the future of students.
Here we have to keep in mind that this campaign must not affect honest and responsible persons on account of some personal grievances.
