OKARA: A-Division police registered a case late on Wednesday against a man on the report of the returning officer (RO) of the local council reserved seats polls in Okara.

Tehsil Municipal Officer Tariq Mahmood Paroya reported to police William Masih and his wife Shakila Masih filed papers forminority seats of the Okara TMA. The nomination papers of William were rejected while Shakila qualified to be a candidate. William insisted the RO to allot tiger as election symbol to Shalcila. When he was told to produce the PML-N ticket letter, William threatened the RO with consequences. On Mr Paroya report, police registered a case against William.
