LAHORE: Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed and Jamaat-i-Islami`s Dr Waseem Akhtar on Monday submitted motions in Punjab Assembly against the terror attack in Gulshan-i-Iqbal Park.

In a resolution submitted to the Punjab Assembly, Mr Rasheed demanded that the government launch operation against terrorists in Punjab.

He said the Punjab government itself was creating hurdles in the implementation of the National Action Plan.

Dr Akhtar in his adjournment motion demanded that the perpetrators of the attack should be identified and nabbed.
