Governor wants uplift schemes completed

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has emphasised on completion of development projects without any further delay in order to provide quick services and facilities to the people of Fata, said a statement Giving policy guidelines to the new additional chief secretary Fata, Mohammad Aslam Kambwa, on Tuesday, he directed officers in Fata to serve tribal people with sincerity rather than adopting authoritative behaviour. Mr Kambwa replaced Mohammad Azam Khan.

The governor directed the new additional chief secretary not to limit the development projects only to the papers but ensure timely completion of all the people welfare schemes for the larger interest of tribal people. He also asked him to ensure close coordination with all the parliamentarians and elite of Fata, saying they should be consulted properly in connection with the development projects.

The governor directed the official to complete welfare projects so far initiated in Fata without any further delay so that the tribal people could get the require d facilities. He asked him to ensure transparency in development work. Bureau Report
