SPSC: another appeal

2016-04-29
THIS is apropos the letter `SPSC results: an appeal` (April 17). The justification provided by the SPSC employees in the letter is based on baseless grounds.

The SPSC`s Combined Competitive Examinations 2013 result of the written test has been widely condemned both by civil society and human rights activists owing to large-scale malpractices.

The inclusion of additional roll numbers of favourites in original screening list has tarnished the image of this reputed institution.

We, the sons of poor fathers, have fallen prey to ruthless victimisation by SPSC employees, who have been notif ying and de-notifying the schedule of interviews in haste off and on.

It is strange to note that the SPSC secretary, being a party to the scam, has appointed himself the focal person to redress the grievances of the affected candidates. How can it be possible that a person who is a party to the scandal will dispense justice to the victims? The eligibility of the SPSC chairman is highly questionable.

Moreover, the writers of the said letter have showed themselves as members of the poor class. One of the candidates is the son of the SPSC deputy controller, while others are working as employees of the SPSC.

What would be the fate of victimised candidates whose careers are at stake? What about the victims who have been running from pillar to post for justice since March 16.

I request NAB chairman to intervene in the matter.
