PESHAWAR, Nov 28: Youth Forum of Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry has planned to support young fashion designers in Peshawar so that they could compete with people in other big cities of the country.
Discussing problems being faced by women entrepreneurs with vice-president of Pak-Afghan Chamber of Commerce Usman Bilour here on Thursday, Youth Forum chairperson Maryam Arshad said that female youth had talent, but they lacked facilities.
She said that the forum wanted to arrange training courses for women in different regional languages, but it was difficult due to unavailability of funds for the purpose.
Mr Bilour assured the representatives of the youth forum of his support in provision of funds from different donor agencies. The women chamber`s president Rohi Zahir Shah said that the chamber had already been working for encouragement of the youth.
