FAMOUS playback singer A. Nayyar is no more, but his melodious voice will remain alive. Sadly in his life he was not given the respect and importance which he deserved.
With his voice he served this nation well.
There was a time when his voice was a guarantee of success of a film. He entertained people with his natural and God-gifted style.
Unfortunately, owing to some unknown reasons he was not considered for the presidential award. Now this seems to be the right time to do it. The government should announce Pride of Performance Award for him posthumously to recognise his services for the Pakistani film industry.
