Mirpurkhas board announces HSC-I result

MIRPURKHAS: The Mirpurkhas Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) announced the result of 2015 examinations held for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-1 (XI) in preengineering, pre-medical, general science, humanities (regular and private) and commerce groups on Monday.

According to the results, a total of 21,851 candidates appeared in the annual exams.

In pre-engineering group, 7,193 boys and girls appeared in exams but only 4,404 candidates could pass six papers, 1,476 five papers,751four papers,195three papers, 36 two papers and 13 candidates one paper.

Seven candidates failed in all papers while the results of 213 students were withheld for different reasons.

In pre-medical group, a total of 10,884 candidates appeared in exams and 7,514 passed six papers, 2,101 five papers, 559 four papers, 293 three papers , 65 two papers and 12 one paper while 28 failed in all papers.

The results of 272 candidates were withheld for reasons.

In general science group, 161 candidates appeared in exams and 62 succeeded in six papers, 52 in five papers, 30 in four papers, eight in three papers and one candidate in two papers. The results of eight candidates were withheld.

In humanities (regular and private group) exams, 3,308 candidates appeared and 2,262 could pass six papers, 625 five papers, 133 four papers, 29 three papers, 12 two papers and 10 one paper. The results of 191 candidates were withheld.

In commerce group, a total of 305 candidates appeared and 57 candidates passed six papers, 173 five papers, 33 four papers, eight three papers and three two papers. The results of 24 candidates were withheld.
