LA HOR E: A minor girl and a man allegedly committed suicide in two different areas of the city on Wednesday.
The Shafeegabad police said that 12-year-old Maha Noor was found hanged with a ceiling fan at her house in Malipura.
Quoting girl`s father Mirza Khan, police said his daughter committed suicide over financial problems, but a murder case has been registered againstunidentifiedperson(s).
SI Arshad said the case was registered on behalf of the state as a minor girl could not commit suicide. He said that investigations were under way to know the exact cause of the incident.
A middle-aged man committed suicide by shooting himself in the head over some family dispute.
The Shadbagh police said Javed, 50, of Shama Colony, in dejection went to a room, locked it and shot himself in the head with his pistol.
Police took the body into custody and shifted it to the morgue for an autopsy.
