MINGORA: Boys secured top positions in the results of the higher secondary school certificate examinations announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Saidu Sharif Swat, here on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by the board, Hamza Alam Khan of Government Degree College, Mingora, and Sohail Ahmad of Tipu Model School and College, Kabal, collectively achieved first position by securing 996 marks each.

Similarly, Atiqa Naz of Tipu Model School and College, Kabal, and Faheemullah of Government Degree College, Mingora, collectively grabbed the second position by obtaining 992 marks each.

Rukhsar Khan of Swat Public School and College stood third by securing 986 marks, Mohammad Anwar of Government Degree College, Mingora, secured fourth position by getting 979 marks, Mohammad Sajjad of Government Degree College, Mingora, achieved fifth grade by scoring 978 marks.

Sabawoon of Tipu Model School & College, Kabal, achieved sixth position with 976 marks, Zainab Amir, Rishma Zia, Munazzah and Nawazish Naz of Swat Public School and College collectively grabbled seventh spot securing 973 marks each.

Marwa Bashir of Swat Public School and College gained eighth spot by securing 972 marks, Andaleeb Ikram of Al-Razi School Kanju got ninth position scoring 971 marks, and Sana Amjad of Swat Public School and College achieved 10th spot with 970 marks. The overall passing percentage for part-l was 67 per cent and 71 per cent for parF11.-Correspondent
