TAXILA: Two friends were shot and injured in the limits of Wah Saddar police on Saturday.

Zaffar told police that he and his friend Saglain were travelling on a motorcycle when two motorcyclists shot them and fled. The police registered a case and started an investigation.

Meanwhile, Wah Saddar police claimed to have busted a gang of car thieves and arrested two suspects.

Subdivisional Police Officer Taxila Sajid Gondal said the gang of five people, including Naseem Khan, Faqreer Mohammad, Siraj Khan and Noor Jehan, in the guise of passengers used to book cars from different parts ofthe country andlater snatched them on gunpoint.

He said the police raided their hideout and arrested three suspects. Our Correspondent
