LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has vowed to bring each child of Punjab to school before the 2018 election.

The chief minister formally inaugurated the `enrollment drive 2017` by entering names of two children besides gifting them books here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said: `Quality education is not the sole right of the elite and I will take every step to ensure that each kid goes to school.

He lamented that the elite yeamed for quality education and healthcare facilities but when somebody proposed the same for the poor they [elite] felt disturbed. He asked his government`s critics to change their attitude.
