GHALANAI: A naib subedar of Mohmand Rifles was killed when an improvised explosive device went off in the Chamarkand area of Safi tehsil in Mohmand Agency on Saturday, sources said.
Mohmand Rifles personnel were conducting a search operation in the Mamad Gat area when the IED exploded.
Naib subedar Zahid Khan Khattak suffered injuries and later died in a hospital..
