CHAGAl: Balochistan Levies Force arrested four people soon after they allegedly robbed a shop in the Yak Mach town of Chagai district on Friday night.
According to Chagai Deputy Commissioner Hussain Baloch, the robbers used a minor boy for the crime.
Soon after receiving information, Levies force chased the robbers and arrested them, Mr Baloch said, adding that they had a stolen car, looted cash and a pistol with several rounds.
Official sources said the minor boy was sent to a child protection unit in Quetta.
Dalbandin Assistant Commissioner Abdul Basit Buzdar told Dawn that the gang of robbers comprised `hardcore criminals` and was involved in street robberies and carjacking in Chagai, Noshki and Panjgur.
One of the arrested was also nominated in a murder case of a person belonging to Punjab.
