THIS refers to the letter `Taiser Town` (Jan 15). I too am a victim of the Malir Development Authority`s (MDA) incompetence and apathy.
I was allotted a 400-square-yard plot in Taiser Town`s scheme 45 in 2007 for which I paid all the installments, totalling Rs1,200,000 in 2011. After having squeezed millions from thousands of working people, the MDA has started no development work on the scheme during the last 11 years and there are no signs that it plans to start work anytime soon.
The Sindh government and the Sindh High Court chief justice are requested to come to the aid of the people who have paid hard-earned money for a governmentsponsored scheme with the expectation that it would be a secure investment.
