BAHAWALPUR: Two minor boys were allegedly raped in separate incidents in the areas of Qutabpur in Lodhran and Mailsi in Vehari districts on Friday.

In the first case, a nine-year-old boy was allegedly raped by a man on Sui Gas Road, Qutabpur, Lodhran district.

The victim`s father, Mudassar, in his complaint to police stated that his son was lured by the suspect to a place and was subjected to sexual assault.

Qutabpur police after registration of a case against the fleeing suspect, sent the victim for me dical examination.

In the second incident, a suspect allegedly raped a 14-year old boy, who was on his way to an academy for tuition inMohalla Gharibaabad at Fatehpur village in the limits of Mailsi Saddar police station.

According to police, the suspect and his accomplice intercepted the boy when he was going to an academy.

They lured the boy to a house, where they recorded his nude video.

The prime suspect allegedly raped the boy, while his accomplice stood guard.

The suspects threatened the boy to upload the obscene video on social media if he disclosed the incident.

The police registered a rape case against the fleeing suspects and started conducting raids for their arrest.

MURDER CASE: Mumtazabad police, Multan, on Friday registered the murder case of a seven-year-old girl, whose body with slit throat was found on agarbage heap in Jannowala Chah area near a ghee mills on Thursday.

The case was registered on the complaint of the victim Shabron Fatima`s mother Parveen Bibi against unidentified killer(s).

The police claimed to have taken three suspects in custody for inte rrogation.

Meanwhile, police formed three investigation teams to trace and arrest the killer(s) of the minor girl, whose body was handed over to her parents after the postmortem examination.

She was later laid to restin alocalgraveyard KIDNAP BID: Locals thwarted a bid to abduct a minor girl in Street No 5 in Deewan Ka Bagh area of Multan and handed over the alleged abductor to police after giving him a sound thrashing.According to Gulgasht police sources, locals spotted the suspect, later identified as Waseem, forcibly taking a one and a half year old girl with him.

As the girl was crying, the locals surrounded the suspect who failed to satisfy them about his relation to the toddler.

The locals then thrashed the suspect after recovering the girl and handed him over to police.

Gulgasht police registered a kidnap case against the suspect and arrested him.

Meanwhile, a pregnant woman, Sughran Bibi, who had suffered burns in LPG container blast in Multan, gave birth to twins in the Nishtar Hospital on Friday.

She was admitted to the burns ward of the hospital after suffering burns in the explosion.
