QUETTA: Five people were killed and a truck driver was kidnapped in different incidents in parts of Balochistan on Friday, police said.
Two coal-laden trucks were going to Punjab from the Chamalang field when armed men opened fire atthem near Duki area. Driver of one truck, Mohammad Afzal, was killed and of the other, Saleh Mohammad, was kidnapped.
`Security forces are making efforts to recover the kidnapped driver,` Levies officials said. The body was shifted to the hospital.
Mohammad Anis died in firing on a shop in Panjgur town.
The motive for the murderremains unclear.
Two men on a motorcycle died when a car hit them in Gadani area of Lasbela. They were identified as Ali Hasan and Munir.
Car driver Mohammad Hanif was taken into custody.
Dhani Bakhsh was riding a motorbike when a tractortrolley knocked him down in Usta Mohammed.
