PML-N leader among three shot dead

GUJRAT: A PML-N leader of Sara-i-Alamgir and his driver were shot dead near Karyala village late on Monday night.

Raja Shafique Bhola, a local PML-N leader, along with his driver Nauman Alchtar, was returning to his village when armed men targeted them by opening Kre and hed.

Both died on the spot.

Police have registered a case against unidentiHed persons on the report of Raja Bilal, the brother of Raja Shafique.

They were buried on Tuesday afternoon after police handed over thebodies to the families after autopsy at the Kharian civil hospital.

In another incident, a private school owner was gunned down in Kunjah Town.

Ali Raza, 26, had set up a school a few months ago and he came to the town from his village Kot Shams to get the advertisement posters of his school displayed in the city where he was shot dead.

His father told the police that his son or any other member of the family had no enmity.

The Kunjah police registered a case on the report of Muhammad Waris, the father of the deceased.
