WE, as a nation, have a history of political uncertainty. From the infamous Changa Manga episode to the happenings today, we have come a long way without getting anywhere. In the light of what happened yesterday, we should not be too shocked by what is happening today. No political party worth its name can claim to be an exception to the rule. This is an unfortunate reality.
Our politicians rejoice when they are the beneficiaries and lament when they are the victims. This, again, is part of our unfortunate reality. Many have tried, but none have been convincing enough to make everyone buy the `conspiracy` theory or the perceived `battle between the good and the evil`. It is just plain politics from both sides; from all sides, actually.
Regardless of who prevails, one can only hope that some day sanity would prevail.
