ANP leader shot, injured during robbery in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT: Unknown motorcyclists shot at and injured a local leader of Awami National Party after depriving him of cash and mobile phone in Serai Naurang town of Lakki Marwat district on Tuesday night, the police said.
An official said the incident occurred when Qayyum Khan along with his brother, Ahmad Shezad was going home from the party`s office located in Naurang city.
Injured Q ayyum, who is ANP`s district information secretary, told police four masked suspects on two motorcycles intercepted them. He said two suspects aimed their pistols on them and the other two looted cash and a mobile phone fromhim. He said the suspects fled the place after opening fire on them.
The official said the injured was shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. The police began an investigation after registering a case.
OUTLAW KILLED: A former policeman, who was also a proclaimed offender, was killed after being kidnapped by his rivals near Sattari Koroona area on the outskirts of the Lakki city on Tuesday night, the police said.
They said the deceased, Amanullah, 40, was wanted by police in murder, attempted murder, extortion, robbery, attack on police and terrorism cases. Correspondent
