Mohammad Hasni tribe chieftain joins PML-N

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah ZehrihasclaimedthatwithSardarShahbazKhanMohammad Hasni joining the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Balochistan has become the `fort` of the PML-N.
At a press conference at the Chief Minister House, along with Federal Minister for SAFRONretired Lt Gen Abdul Qadir Baloch on Wednesday, he said it was a great day for the PML-N that the entire Mohammad Hasni tribe had joined the party.
`I welcome Sardar Shahbaz Khan and Ali Haider Mohammad Hasni to the party,` Mr Zehri said.
Former Speaker Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali, MPA Tahir Mehmood and Mir Asim Kurd aka Gellu were also present on the occasion.
Sardar Shahbaz Khan Mohammad Hasni announced joining the PM-N along with Sardarzada Mir Ali Haider Mohammad Hasni.
`I have joined PML-N along with my entire tribe and supporters and will work along with Nawab Sanaullah Zehri for the betterment of Balochistan and Pakistan,` Sardar Shahbaz Khan Mohammad Hasni said.
Reposing confidence in the leadership of Nawab Zehri, he said that he had joined PML-N in the larger interest of the people of Balochistan.
Welcoming the tribal chieftain in the party fold, Chief Minister Nawab Zehri said that their joining would make PML-N stronger in Balochistan and in the next election Balochistan would emerge as a strong fort of Nawaz Sharif. He said that in the last election PML-N lost at least half a dozen seats of the Balochistan Assembly with the margin of 300 votes.
`We will win these seats in the next elections with the support of the Mohammad Hasni tribe,` said the chief minister.
He said the joining of Sardar Shahbaz Khan Mohammad Hasni would make a big difference in the parliamentary politics of Balochistan as the Mohammad Hasni tribe was considered a big and influential tribe of Balochistan.
Referring to terrorism, Nawab Zehri said the government had succeeded in elimination of terrorists and their supporters with the joint ef forts of the government and security forces in Balochistan and restored the writ of the government. He said that government had put a dentin the backbone of the terrorists and efforts were under way to cleanse Balochistan of the remaining few insurgents and their facilitators.
He said that security agencies had arrested or killed members of the terrorist groups who were involved in Civil Hospital, police training college and Shah Noorani shrine suicide bombing.
Replying to a question, the chief minister said that authorities concerned were making all-out efforts for the recovery of abducted Chinese nationals. He said that he had suspended a DSP and two SHOs on charges of dereliction of duty in connection with the kidnapping of a Chinese couple.
