I WAS driving to work on the morning of July 28 from Clifton via Mai Kolachi. As usual, using the right lane I was encountered by a naval protocol of a three-star of ficial.
There were three vehicles the lead was by a blue coloured Toyota landcruiser with a white Toyota Corolla (three-star plate)in the centre, followed by a white coloured Toyota Hilux/Vigo.
As required of any citizen, I gave way by entering the middle lane and providing free access for the trio. But to my astonishment the vehicle in the front was not willing to maintain the right lane and instead was travelling between the two lanes andinsisted on my moving aside. As the protocol crossed me, the last vehicle came close to my car and brushed me aside.
This clearly shows the state of mind that personnel of the forces hold. Living on our taxes, they need to be told whose right it is on the roads.
